CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) training is the first step to becoming a CMMC Certified Assessor. This is the training that every assessor goes through and from it you will pick up knowledge that will be helpful to you in any role within the ecosystem. Beyond being a requirement for aspiring assessors, CCP training is great for consultants and implementers who want to understand requirements and effectively perform self-assessments for organizations. Understanding the requirements and having the same training as assessors allows you to communicate with the same terminology and understanding of assessment processes. Approved Publishing Partner: This training licenses CAICO Approved Training Material (CATM) from Edwards Performance Solutions. Instructor: The instructor is Dr. Jeff Baldwin, Lead CCA, and Provisional Instructor. When? This CMMC Certified Professional training is delivered live online for 3 days. Each day, the class runs from 10am - 6pm EST with a 1 hour break for lunch. This means this course will be worth 21 Continuous Professional Education (CPE) credits. The schedule for this course is: Day 1 - Course Overview Day 1 - CMMC Ecosystem Day 1 - CMMC Ethics Day 1 - CMMC Governance Source Documents Day 2 - CMMC Scoping Day 2 - CMMC Assessment Process Day 2 - CMMC Model Construct and Implementation Day 3 - CMMC Domain and Practices Review Note: This course does not include the one-time $200 application Fee, or the CCP exam fee. These fees are required to become a CCP. If you plan to take the course and decide not take the exam, then they are optional expenses.
