About
The CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) course is a requirement for becoming an assessor for CMMC Third Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAOs). It is also recommended that consultants and personnel from Organizations Seeking Certification (OSC) attend in order to better understand the assessment process. Learn to self-assess in the same way that an assessors assesses systems to prepare your organization and increase your chances of passing the CMMC assessment. Anyone is welcome to take and attend the CCA training but you must meet all of the pre-requisites to be eligible to take the CCA exam – including already possessing the CMMC Certified Professional Credential. For more information on the pre-requisites, refer to the CCA blueprint. Please review the blueprint carefully for the requirements and for an overview of what topics will be covered in the training course. If you need to receive the CMMC Certified Professional Certification, please visit our other course listings. Licensed Publishing Partner: This training licenses CAICO Approved Training Material (CATM) from Edwards Performance Solutions. Instructor: The instructor is Dr. Jeff Baldwin, Lead CCA, and Provisional Instructor. How does the Self-Paced Instructor Guided course work? 1) You work at your own pace to watch recordings of the training material. 2) Complete knowledge checks, exercises, and quizzes. 3) Take notes for any questions that you have. 4) Attend a minimum of 3 hours of live Q&A sessions with me where we review and focus on the areas where you have questions. 5) I submit your course completion and then you are able to schedule your CCA exam. You can finish these steps as fast or as slow as you want. It is the most flexible training option. Note: This course does not include the CCA Application Fee, or the CCA exam fee. These fees are required to become a CCA. If you plan to take the course and decide not take the exam, then they are optional expenses.
