Course List

At Space Coast Cyber, we are proud to offer high quality content that is relevant and beneficial for today’s cyber professional. We believe we have some of the most unique and valuable courses available on the market.

We can customize and tailor any course in the list for your needs except for the CCP and CCA, which use CMMC-AB Approved Training Material (CATM) from CMMC Licensed Publishing Partners (LPP) that cannot be modified.

Our courses are designed for the perspective of the cybersecurity professional and what you need in order to take knowledge back to the workplace. Additionally, because Space Coast Cyber has specialized knowledge in tangential fields, many courses have a cross-disciplinary aspect to them that give the learner a bigger picture view of the subject matter.

Woman with Computer

Certified CMMC Professional (CCP)

The CCP is the most comprehensive training course currently available for CMMC. This course prepares the student to become a member of a CMMC assessment team and it is the steppingstone toward becoming a CMMC Lead Assessor. However, this course isn't just for assessors, anyone can take this course to get a better understanding of CMMC requirements and the CMMC assessment process. From our perspective, the only difference between a self-assessment and an assessment by a C3PAO is the level of independence of the assessor. The assessment procedures used should be the same by either an internal or external assessor.

Space Coast Cyber is an authorized CMMC Licensed Training Provider using CMMC-AB Approved Training Material (CATM), which means taking this course with us will complete one of the pre-requisite steps required to be able to take the CCP exam.

Dr. Baldwin is one of the first 20 people to achieve both CMMC Provisional Assessor and CMMC Provisional Instructor, and he had the privilege to be one of the first instructors to deliver the CCP training materials to students.

Fundamentals of
Systems Security Engineering (SSE)

This course focuses on the discipline of Systems Security Engineering. Many people transition into cybersecurity from a variety of fields, so fundamental engineering concepts like the system development lifecycle, verification and validation, eliciting requirements from stakeholders, deriving system requirements from regulations, tailoring requirements to system components, building a reference architecture, and ensuring requirements traceability may be brand new concepts for them.

At its core, systems engineering is a process to help transform ideas into capabilities. As system security engineers, we want to make sure those capabilities are secure, protect sensitive information, and that they are resilient enough to withstand cyber threats so organizations are able to achieve their mission and goals.

Whether you are new to the cybersecurity field or have been around for a while, this course provides information that is highly beneficial to anyone who may have an interest in learning about systems engineering.

Dr. Baldwin has spent over a decade as a systems security engineer and has been a director and senior manager leading teams of systems security engineers providing services to secure critical information for organizations.
